Polishing Machine Granite
The BCTC BHLMJX Polishing Machine Granite is a fully automatic polishing machine. Even if a stone slab is neatly cut, with smooth edges and precise dimensions, differences in surface gloss compared to other products in the same batch can affect subsequent deliveries.
The BHLMJX aims to help stone processing companies improve the consistency of polishing quality and reduce surface effect differences between different stone slabs.
During processing, the stone slab passes sequentially along a conveyor belt through multiple polishing heads. Each polishing head operates according to preset parameters and is monitored to maintain a stable processing state and ensure work efficiency.
After polishing and drying, the stone slab can proceed to the subsequent quality inspection and grading process.

Why is assembly line polishing superior to manual polishing?
Core advantages
The core advantage of assembly line polishing lies not only in increased production efficiency but also in the superior quality of the finished product. The boards are processed according to a standardized workflow, under constant pressure, using standardized polishing heads. The machine records the entire process. Taking the Polishing Machine Granite as an example, the BHLMJX series can automatically scan the contour of each board and independently adjust the operating parameters of each polishing head. This ensures that even with slight surface irregularities, the board surface maintains full contact with the polishing head, avoiding insufficient edge pressure.
Data tracking
The system tracks polishing data for each sheet of material, transforming surface quality from subjective human judgment into an objective and traceable record. When the polishing effect of two sheets deviates, the data clearly shows the corresponding polishing head and the processing step that caused it. In manual polishing mode, a dedicated person is required to be responsible for each sheet throughout the entire process, while assembly line polishing only requires one operator to be responsible for the entire production line.
Grinding heads determine the process: Ficert grinding heads for granite, Frankfurt grinding heads for marble
The polishing processes for granite and marble are drastically different. Granite grinding heads use Ficert grinding blocks, which are rectangular diamond abrasives with a metal bond for leveling and a resin bond for finishing. Marble polishing heads use Frankfurt abrasives. The BHLMJX series Polishing Machine Granite supports interchangeable use of both types of grinding blocks, forming a processing production line adaptable to various types of stone. Simply changing the grinding head allows the same machine to process granite, marble, quartzite, and artificial stone.
The number of grinding blocks per grinding head can be customized: 12F and 16F models can be equipped with 4/6 grinding blocks; the 20F model can be equipped with 5/7/9 grinding blocks. The number of grinding blocks directly affects the pressure distribution on slabs with a width of 300-2100mm.

A Polishing Machine Granite production line with 20 polishing heads can be broken down into more processing stages, but the load on each polishing head is correspondingly smaller. A shorter production line uses the same processing logic in fewer stations, achieving the processing goal by extending the dwell time of the board at each station. The entire process sequence remains fixed; only the total processing time for each board changes.

Choose 12, 16, or 20 grinding heads
The number of grinding heads is a key factor to consider when planning equipment size for granite slab processing plants, as it directly determines the grinding sequence and production line speed. The BCTC series Polishing Machine Granite products offer optional configurations of 8 to 24 grinding heads; the following three F series configurations are specifically designed for Fickert granite.
