CNC Marble Machines

BCTC BHKNC 450J CNC Marble Machines
When a marble processing plant increases its output from 3 slabs per week to 3 slabs per day, the criteria for selecting CNC marble machines completely change. Cutting speed is no longer the primary consideration.
In actual production, three points are more important:
🔹 The machine's ability to stably complete 45° bevel cutting on a 3 meter long, perfectly aligned Staturio marble slab.
🔹 Waterjet inlay processing without damaging the natural stone's grain.
🔹 Completing all processes in a single setup, allowing for direct removal from the worktable.
A typical marble countertop or architectural component requires several different processing steps before installation
This is especially crucial when handling custom countertops, washbasin panels, wall panels, tables, and hotel projects and architectural stone components.

High Efficiency Diamond Saw for Material Removal
This saw unit supports 350–450 mm diamond saw blades and a 26.4 kW spindle.
It is suitable for:
- Slab sizing and finishing
- Long straight cuts
- 45° beveling
- Edge finishing
- Countertop and vanity cutting
- Initial openings and material removal
37 kW Abrasive Waterjet Cutting for Complex Geometry
Typical applications include:
- Interior angles
- Curved surface profiles
- Decorative inserts
- Irregular openings
- Faucet and sink details

For CNC stone cutting machines, the control system is just as important as the cutting hardware, because repeatable processing depends on coordinated movements, precise positioning, and reliable execution of the programmed path.

Five Axis Motion Delivers Superior Performance
Marble processing is more than just cutting slabs to the required dimensions. A marble processing project may require beveling on the same slab, rather than a simple 90° right angle cut. If these processes were performed by different machines, the slab would need to be moved, positioned, and recalibrated.

The BCTC BHKNC 450J CNC Marble Machines take a different approach. It integrates a diamond saw and abrasive waterjet into a single five axis CNC platform, equipped with an Italian ESA five axis CNC system as standard, spanning the X, Y, Z, C, and A axes. This allows for different angle cuts based on the geometry of the part, controlling the cutting head accordingly.
The five axis configuration is suitable for the following applications

✅ Beveling Countertops
✅ Capsulates the beveling required for waterfall edges, countertop seams, and architectural details.
✅ Custom Stone Components
✅ Cuts according to preset geometries, not just rectangular cuts.
✅ Curved surfaces and inner contours
✅ Using waterjet cutting heads to process shapes that traditional blades cannot efficiently achieve.
Control, Drive, and Motion Components
The BHKNC 450J uses the Italian ESA five axis CNC system as its central control platform. Its motion system includes:
Yaskawa digital servo motors
HIWIN linear guides
Five axis CNC interpolation
ESA CNC system
Pegasus stone specific CAD/CAM software
Why is marble processing so special?
The BHKNC 450J features a dual cutting structure specifically designed for marble.
The natural texture of marble is its core value, but the material is relatively soft and its texture is sensitive. Even a slight deviation in the sawing feed can cause cracks along the grain. Furthermore, the fine texture of marble's calcite matrix means that ordinary cutting marks directly affect the final product's appearance and quality.
Two cutting systems share an Italian ESA five axis coordinate system, allowing seamless switching between operating conditions during processing without the need for secondary slab positioning.
The intelligent photo based layout system imports DXF drawings and clamps the slab once. The system then intelligently arranges the processing path according to the actual marble texture, maximizing the protection of the natural grain while ensuring both high yield and aesthetic appeal.
Our Customer Case

For example, this is a real world example from a North American processing plant: This is a large gray marble slab being processed on site. This type of marble has intricate natural veins and is relatively brittle. The customer used a BHKNC 450J diamond saw to first cut the outer contour of the slab. Without needing to loosen or move the slab, they directly switched to a waterjet cutter to complete the subsequent drilling and irregular shaping. The slab only needs to be clamped once, eliminating the need for repeated disassembly and realignment, thus minimizing the risk of cracks and chipping during marble processing and ensuring a high yield of finished marble.
FAQ
Q: What are CNC marble machines used for?
A: CNC Marble Machines are used for the numerical control machining of marble slabs in stone factories. They can complete processes such as straight cutting, 45 degree beveling, sink opening, and arc shaping. When combined with a saw blade and waterjet integrated solution, high end stone products such as kitchen countertops and bar counters can be processed in a single clamping, reducing the probability of marble cracking and scrapping.
Q: What are the differences between sawing and waterjet cutting on the BHKNC 450J?
A: Both heads share a single five axis coordinate system, allowing for switching during a single setup without needing to reposition the material.
Q: Can the BHKNC 450J cut marble countertops and create waterfall edges?
A: The BHKNC 450J, as a marble cutting machine for countertops, can process various types of marble countertops and supports five axis beveling for waterfall edges. The saw blade provides rapid cutting, while waterjet cutting refines fine contours, allowing for complete countertop processing in a single setup.
Q: What is the maximum marble cutting thickness for BHKNC 450J?
A: 100mm.
Q: Why choose a five axis CNC stone cutting machine for marble processing?
A: The five axis design enables multi angle bevels and three dimensional shapes. Multiple processes can be completed in a single clamping, reducing cracking and misalignment caused by slab displacement, and making it suitable for high end marble countertops and irregularly shaped stone processing.
Machine selection should begin with the parts you actually produce.

If your production requires more than just simple marble cutting, this CNC system can integrate multiple cutting processes into a single workflow. Please send your commonly used stone slab dimensions, material thickness, CAD drawings, and required cutting processes to BCTC. Our technical team will assess the necessary saw blade and waterjet configurations and recommend a suitable CNC stone cutting machine based on your specific production needs.
