One Spindle, Multiple Machining Tasks

 The spindle is designed for more than simple engraving.

The spindle power is 15 kilowatts and has position and orientation control functions, which can be adjusted according to the material, tool, and processing stage. Low speed operation can be used to remove heavier materials, while high-speed operation is suitable for fine machining and surface finishing.

How Seven Axes Changes the Equation?

 

 There are 7 motion axes, among which J1~J6 are rotary joints, and J7 is the linear axis of the ground track (infinite stroke). Add two key capability dimensions compared to the 3/4/5 axis system:

  • Redundant degrees of freedom allow the tool to reach any spatial orientation of the workpiece, including the bottom, back, and concave areas;
  • In tool path planning, the inclination angle of the tool can be independently controlled to ensure that the cutting angle and normal deviation at each point on the surface are controlled within ± 2 °;
  • The entire process is completed within a single clamping cycle, and the accumulated clamping error is reset to zero.
